This page explains what personal data this site handles. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we store the name, email address, optional phone number, dates and message you submit, together with your IP address and browser string. We do not ask for identity documents, financial information or references.
We also count how many times each listing has been looked at, so its owner can tell whether anyone is finding it. To avoid counting the same person twice in a day, we keep a short one-way fingerprint of the address and browser for twenty-four hours. It is never written to our database, it is not attached to your enquiry, and it cannot be turned back into an address. Search engine crawlers are not counted. That is the whole of it.
Why
To pass your enquiry to the owner of the property you asked about, and to answer you. Nothing else. We do not sell, rent or share this data with anyone other than that owner.
How long
Enquiries are deleted automatically after twenty-four months.
Your rights
Write to us to obtain a copy of your data or to have it deleted, and we will act on it. You do not need to give a reason.
Cookies and advertising
This site uses analytics to count visits, and may display advertising from third parties who set their own cookies. Where the law requires consent, you are asked before any advertising cookie is set.
